Aux origines du Hip-Hop. Danse et photographie
De New-York à Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines à l’Allemagne, au Bénin, au Japon ou à l’Australie, cette exposition photographique retrace l’émergence du hip-hop en Ile-de-France à travers l’ascension d’une compagnie pionnière née à Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines : les Black Blanc Beur. Des espaces urbains aux scènes de théâtre, l’exposition raconte la transformation d’une pratique née dans la rue en une forme artistique reconnue. Elle met en lumière la rencontre des influences multiples qui ont façonné de nouveaux langages du corps et des codes culturels propres. A travers le regard singulier de plusieurs photographies, cette exposition propose une traversée sensible de l’histoire du hip-hop à Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, de ses origines à son rayonnement international.
